In 2007 Linn started making costume jewelry after being inspired by a friend of hers. The first sets were created from DIY sets, shortly followed by sets made by semiprecious stones such as onyx, jade, and quartz. By the start of 2016, Linn signed up for a course in silversmithing at Folkuniversitetet in Lund, Sweden. This was the start of LAD.

Since then LAD can been seen worn all over Sweden as well as all around the world, in countries such as England, France and Denmark.
